John Arthur found trying to smuggle 100 lbs of marijuana across border in Mexico

Mexico — John Arthur has been arrested attempting to smuggle 100 pounds of marijuana across the border. Officials report that Arthur looked nervous and had bloodshot eyes. When asked for identification, Arthur started laughing uncontrollably. When asked to step out of the vehicle, Arthur was heard saying, "F*** the police!" as Arthur attempted to escape in an 1989 Honda CRX.

Arthur was only pulled over for a minor traffic violation. The officer who made the stop reported that there was a plume of smoke emanating from within the vehicle and also from the vehicle's exhaust system.

It was not until authorities searched the vehicle that they surprisingly discovered that the trunk was filled with 3-pound bricks of marijuana. The pot has a street value of $350,000 USD. There are no indications thus far as to where the pot came from or if Arthur was collaborating with other dealers.
